Book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows
Set in Damon Runyonís mythical New York City, this oddball romantic comedy – considered by many to be the perfect musical comedy – soars with the spirit of Broadway as it introduces us to a cast of vivid characters who have become legends in the canon: Sarah Brown, the upright but uptight mission doll, out to reform the evildoers of Time Square; Sky Masterson, the slick, high-rolling gambler who woos her on a bet and ends up falling in love; Adelaide, the chronically ill nightclub performer whose condition is brought on by the fact sheís been engaged to the same man for 14 years; and Nathan Detroit, her devoted fiance desperate as always to find a spot for his infamous floating crap game.

It’s the summer of 1976…it’s as hot outside as the fashion inside, hits and passion are on the dance floor and Jack is about to celebrate a 21st birthday he will never forget. Working late in a London nightclub, Disco Inferno, Jack meets Lady Marmalade a femme fatale and the Devil’s right-hand lady. Dreaming of becoming successful, he makes a Faustian pact with her, trading his soul to fulfill his wildest fantasies. Sounds like an ideal bargain? Then think again. Jack soon becomes an international success…..a sensation, even making an appearance on Top of the Pops. But this success proves hollow. Jack has the fame and fortune he’d always dreamed of, but is losing his devoted girlfriend. If only he could turn back time… If only he could make one more wish, trading all he has for something far more important….the love of his life.

We Will Rock You Story

The time is the future,in a place that was once called earth. Globalization is complete. Everywhere, the kids watch the same movies, wear the same fashions and think the same thoughts. its a safe happy, GA GA world.
On planet mall rock & roll has been banned for centuries. All musical instruments are banned. The company computers generate the tunes & the kids download them.
Its the age of boy bands & girl bands. Of boy & girl bands. Of girl bands with a couple of boys in them that look like girls anyway.
But resistance is growing. Underneath the gleaming cities, down in the lower depths live the bohemians. Rebels who believe that there once was a golden age when kids formed there own bands & wrote there own songs. The bohemians dream that one day these lost chords will be heard once more. They call this day their rhapsody.
legend persists that somewhere on planet mall instruments still exist. somewhere the mighty axe of a great rock god lies buried deep in rock. The bohemians need a hero to find this axe. But they must find this hero before the company does.
Where is this axe hero? where is the hairy ones lost axe? where is the place of living rock.
